From Monday 22nd June the Costa del Sol has at last come out of the State of Alarm, which now allows us all to move around as we did before the lockdown, albeit with social distancing measures - "The NEW Normal".
Flights to the Costa del Sol are now slowly resuming but we do not expect much traffic until we enter July. The government are allowing flights initially only from Countries which they feel have the virus under control, so it will be phased return to normal.
Until things become a little clearer and we can see that there are no spikes with new infections from the arrival of people from other Countries our offices will remain closed to the public unless by prior appointment. Our view is that this is the sensible thing to do, no-one wants a second wave of new cases!

Puerto de la Duquesa really is one of the Costa del Sol’s best marinas. Although within easy reach of the airports of Malaga (60 minutes) and Gibraltar (45 minutes), La Duquesa seems like a thousand miles away from the throng of the holiday resorts. La Duquesa enjoys an advantageous location to the west of Marbella ¬ sometimes called “the Other Costa del Sol”. The essence in this distinction is that the area retains a vast amount of unspoiled natural scenery and authentic local character – while sharing the fantastic climate and all the excellent services and infrastructure of the rest of the Costa del Sol. This is primarily due to a limited and well-managed development. The result: an ideal balance of relaxed living with easy access to every imaginable amenity. In other words, quality of life. Both sides of Duquesa Marina are expansive beaches. Playa de las Gaviotas and Playa del Castillo to the west with Chiringuito Las Gaviotas open in the summer. On playa Sabillias to the east is beach bar Cubanga which is open all year round.
To say that Casares is beautiful is an understatement. Most of the white villages are beautiful but there is something very special about the sight of Casares that causes the visitor to park the car and simply stare or take a photo. It is hard to believe that this enchanting, typical village is only nine miles from the hustle and bustle of the coast and somehow has succeeded in avoiding the coach tour circuit.
